Located in Barbat, our villa provides a comfortable accommodation at newly renovated apartments just 100 metres from the sea. In a quiet surroundings with amazing views of the sea and islands, you will enjoy your vacation with your family and friends at Villa Kapelica.
All apartments are equipped with: air-condition, LCD TV-SAT, Wi-Fi, microwave, coffee machine.

Barbat is a pleasant fishermen’s village and a favourite sailor’s destination at only 1 km from the city of Rab and therefore – a perfect vacation destination for those looking for a true relaxation out of the city crowd.
Barbat is known for its pebble beaches streching along the coastline and a promenade „Lungo Mare“ that connects Barbat with the city of Rab. Take a walk to the city of Rab – it’s healthy and it’s beautiful! Visit the historical city of Rab with its famous cathedral and antique attributes.
Tastes of the island of Rab: Mediterranean delicacies
If you are a barbecue fan, you can easily prepare a delicious grill at the property. Feel free to use a fireplace and enjoy your meal. If you seek for a local cousine, pick one of many restaurants along the coast and enjoy freshly prepared fish and seafood specialties – we’ll be happy to give you recommendations!
Surely one of the most famous souvenirs you could take home from the island of Rab is the Rab cake (croatian: Rapska torta), a traditional cake with almonds and Maraschino liqueur that dates from the Venetian time. Visit the House of Rab cake (Kuća rapske torte) in the city centre of Rab and try this delicious cake – you’ll love it!
What to do: Activities and events on the island of Rab
If you are more mainland person, you’ll be delighted to take a 2 km morning walk to an early Christian military fortress on Mount St. Damian. Get your bike or just take a walk to the fortress for the fresh start of the day.
If you just want to relax on the beach, just take a 2 minutes walk and you’ll reach the coast. One of the most famous beaches in Barbat is the sandy Beach Pudarica, which is 4 km away from Villa Kapelica.
How to reach us?
By car
If you are travelling by car, the easiest way to reach Barbat na Rabu is by ferry from Stinica.
By plane
If you are travelling by plane, the nearest airport is The Airport of Rijeka (on the island of Krk). From the airport you can take a taxi or rent a car to Valbiska (island of Krk) where you can take a ferry to Lopar (island of Rab). From Lopar you’ll reach Barbat in 20 minutes by car. We can arrange transfer with a third-party from the airport to Villa Kapelica.
By boat
Another option to get island of Rab is by catamaran from the city of Rijeka.
